Aletha Green Burgess
Aletha Green Burgess is a seasoned technology executive leading strategic planning, organizational alignment, and enterprise-scale management of technology applications.
With over two decades of experience driving innovation in the financial services sector, Aletha has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, executing large-scale transformation initiatives, and delivering operational excellence. She is both an Agile Certified Practitioner and a Project Management Professional (PMP), recognized for her ability to navigate complex environments and implement lasting change.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Aletha spent 14 years at Bank of America, where she held senior leadership and executive roles across technology portfolios in document management, digital optimization, and platform stability. She launched her career at General Electric as part of the prestigious Digital Technology Leadership Program (formerly Information Management Leadership Program), where she honed her expertise in enterprise technology strategy.
Aletha holds a B.S. in Information Systems with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her time at UNC, she was a standout student-athlete, serving as captain of the Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team, a National Arthur Ashe Scholar, and a Regional All-Academic Team honoree.
Deeply committed to community impact, Aletha actively supports organizations such as Girls Who Code and the Grace Hopper Celebration. She serves on the Economics Department Advisory Board at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she contributes thought leadership, advocacy, and philanthropic support. Additionally, she serves as Vice President of her neighborhood HOA board and is an experienced real estate investor, focused on revitalizing affordable housing in North and South Carolina.
Aletha lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband and their three children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, playing pickleball, and exploring Charlotte’s vibrant culture.
Sean White
Sean White is an impact investment leader who passionately believes in the power of mission-oriented capital to transform lives and communities.
In his role as Director of Strategy for Civic Partnerships at Michigan Central, Mr. White leads the capital strategy and execution for a significant fundraising effort for one of Detroit’s most ambitious placemaking and economic development projects in the last half century. In addition to providing leadership over Michigan Central’s philanthropic and capital partnerships, Mr. White also collaborates with his colleagues to connect local talent to emerging job opportunities through Michigan Central’s skills work.
Previously, Mr. White led impact investment decisions at the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation and was responsible for deploying $10M of capital from the foundation’s endowment into Washtenaw County. Specifically, he was charged with building trusting relationships with municipal and community leaders, sourcing a robust pipeline of deals, striking partnerships with CDFIs and donor-funders, and advancing the social investing ecosystem in the county.
Prior to joining AAACF, Mr. White has held a variety of fundraising roles including Director of Development at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Develop Detroit, and the University of Michigan where he helped to raise funds for two $1B+ capital campaigns.
Mr. White has extensive experience in partnering across the capital ecosystem to create impact across southeast Michigan.
Kim Addie
Kim Addie is a dynamic and results-driven leader, currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy and Impact for Kindred Futures, an organization dedicated to activating shared prosperity for Black communities through impactful solutions, movement building, and catalytic capital. She has successfully guided more than $21 million in public-private partnerships, managing diverse investment portfolios, leading the development of a $3.3M racial equity fund focused on supporting grassroots organizations and investing in movement building infrastructure.
In her role at Kindred Futures, Kim leads efforts to define, design, and implement inclusive and equitable community wealth-building strategies that promote freedom and economic justice. Her work is grounded in community engagement and is committed to actionable strategies that lead with solutions. Previously, as the Associate Vice President of Place-Based Initiatives at United Way of Greater Atlanta, Kim directed a team that spearheaded multi-year, cross-sector initiatives and directed pivotal investments to improve outcomes for communities with low child well-being in metro Atlanta.
Kim is also an ABFE fellow, a sought-after motivator, an engaging public speaker, and a dedicated champion of individuals reaching their fullest potential. Originally from New York, she is a proud mother of four and currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and beloved dog, Bailey.
Chinesom Ejiasa
Chinesom Ejiasa is currently the CFO of Global Greengrants Fund, a $60+ million global organization focused on environmental justice. Previously, he was a member of the ETS Strategic Capital Team, the corporate venture capital arm of Educational Testing Services. He also founded Sums 15 Holdings, an investment firm that invests across the entire educational value chain to further democratize access to quality and relevant education.
Previously, Chinesom was Managing Director at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation where he managed over $900 million in capital reserved for private equity funds invested in companies across four continents and >30 countries. He is also the former Director of Investments at Africa Integras, an asset management firm headquartered in New York City that invests early-risk capital for the development of infrastructure-related projects within the African education industry.
Earlier in his career, Chinesom worked in the fixed income industry, specifically dealing with asset- and mortgage-backed-related products. During his time at Clayton Fixed Income Services, he analyzed over $3 billion in fixed income product, managed hedge fund managers and Wall Street issuer relationships, and oversaw the development of 25 individuals. He spent a summer at Standard & Poor’s within its Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) Group where he rated transactions and conducted an individual research project on the variability of credit spreads within the structured finance industry.
Chinesom graduated from Colorado College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and was a four-year football varsity letter. He also holds an MBA from The University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
